I’m not entirely sure about this entire “no homework” deal. I am a 8th grade student in Col. Ohio. I agree that we shouldn’t have homework. But you have to think of better reasons. For example… Why can’t we just go over it in class? Instead of doing it at home. We would have the teacher right there to answer any of our Q. and some people learn faster then others so if you don’t understand this stuff then they could help you out and show you how to do it right there. And there is no chance of loosing it. I also understand the pressures of being with friends. You can always miss something that is going on that everyone knows about because of homework. And believe me you do feel like an outcast when that happens… and that isn’t good on a little kids self-esteem. I’m kinda in the middle about homework. But i think that it would be easier to do it in class… or we could have more test… and for the kids that don’t understand it could take homework home and show it to the teacher the next day and if they get it… and get an A on the next test then they don’t need homework because that shows that they know what they are doing.

I also think there shouldn’t be a class president. Why? Because what if you don’t agree with the president? Then, you would have to do things you don’t want to do.

Why would you say the same thing three times? If you really want to make a point-you would make a great choice for class president-you should consider what you have already been taught in school. Use a persuasive format. Also, do not submit your comments until you have checked for spelling, grammar and punctuation.
